The city of Inuyama is how to one of Japan's oldest original castles (as opposed to reconstructions). It dates from 1537 and apart from some renovations it is in its original state. We were on the second floor when a magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck some 20km away giving the castle a jolt and leaving most of the people here just a little nervous but unharmed.
